Wow, very cool chart! I think in Germany, they say it's Bohemian village (which means Czech village), but I'm not a German speaker.
Yeah, I just feel like most of the people are comment little bit different kind of things then OP intended to ask for.
For cookies popups, look at the browser extension I Still Don't Care About Cookies. It blocks all the cookies popups and works very well. The website can't track you because you didn't click consent. Just make sure to use the version with still in it's name, it's a community fork since the original was bought by Avast.

I'm sure you can. At least on Samsung, I can change it pretty easily.
I also hate this, but I wouldn't call that an UI trend. It's caused by the browser and it's rather a bad UX I think.
In Czechia we have some interesting phrases about other countries: It's a Spanish village to me - I don't understand it. (For example I don't know how to program, it's a Spanish village for me.) He drinks like a person from Denmark - He drinks a lot of alcohol.
