i went form a regular 12 to 15pro max and tbh i am not impressed either. battery is good that's why i really wanted a new phone but anything else... it's an iphone.

yes you should get a smaller one
the high end sony phones have really good build quality and they are shipped with stock android. sony overall is a premium brand.
