I've seen that "problem" a lot, but they give away the source code for free as proper communists should do, and then it's out of their hands. Just don't go to lemmygrad.ml.

Just communicate with the kbin developers a lot, ernest did disable the api for now because he might change it.

I hope this passes, but I wonder how it will get watered down, where the loopholes are.

there are a few other kbin instances, for example https://fedia.io/ maybe they have the api enabled

I haven't seen any user profile options to block nsfw tagged content, or to block a specific instance.

That would help, and doesn't need defederation.

edit: found "Hide adult content" in settings.
