What i don't get is how nvidia stock is exploding when using their hardware for AI is a nightmare on Linux. How are companies doing this? Are they just offering enterprise support to ibsiders or something?

Look, you do you, but it's DnD.
If proton can handle starfield at launch, its jover for windows.
Yo, who plays a DnD game and doesn't make their own character? C'mon now.
Yeah, I just don't get the point of what Google is doing with all of this. The while point is to require attestation because than you know people are viewing ads. So websites can either "trust" certs issued by Firefox, or not and lose out on ad revenue. I guess Google absence doesn't have to trust firefoz attestation, but then it is going to payout less and people will seek other providers.
SSL certs provide trust because you ultimately trust the issuing authority, which is supposedly garunteednby world governments. Their are known corrupt actors issuing certs, but ultimately you can be pretty sure that the SSL cert matches the domain you are on, and that it was requested by the owner of that domain. But you can still choose to not visit that domain if you don't trust it. There are a lot of services that will block its already, so I don't really get what the point of attestation is.
Firefox could always spoof the standard to maintain compatibility.
It's not just that there are people thinking about it, it's that this is what our brightest minds in our society are incentivized to think about.
There is a joke in tech circles - if you are smart enough you eventually end up in ad tech. It's really unhealthy for our society.
Great way to get your car broken into, just sayin.
I think as renewable energy gets cheaper and we move away from scarcity in society, we will stop looking at ourselves as brands. Instead, personal conduct, or the appearance of such will play a much larger part in our public lives and place in society. This will provide a lot of privacy issues.
And we love that for you.
Brother, I got news for you. If you are feeling bi-sexual yearning, it's not because you watched a movie.
It just makes no sense to me though, how is it sustainable for nvidia to not have great Linux kernel support? Like, let the kernel maintainers do their job and reap the benefits. I'm guessing that nvidia sees enterprise support contracts as an essential revenue stream, but eventually even enterprises are going to go with hardware that Linus isn't giving the finger to right? Am I crazy?
