Just to echo something the main post said - Seeing large images is actually a frustrating Lemmy bug that's yet to be fixed. On Hexbear we post a small, standard emoji-size image and that's all we see our side, so nobody is even aware that others are seeing it obnoxiously huge.

These are baseless assertions - Your skin is covered in a layer of oils and skin that will capture your grime, and will naturally come off with hands and soap in running warm water. Unless you're regularly covered in like glue or you're showering every hour then using your hands will absolutely work to the same efficacy.

Exfoliation happens naturally, it does not need artificially scrubbing and materials unless you have a medical condition. My own baseless assertion is that scrubbing with a sponge or rag will remove more oils or skin than you should and instead expose and dry out your skin, making it worse.

These are lies sold to you by the wash-material bourgeoisie, comrade. You can absolutely handwash to perfect cleanliness without having a disgusting filth-collector to do it.

I half think that, but I'm considering half not-thinking it.

Ah, but is it still the Master's killdozer once you've done that?

That implies that a large enough portion of users have read enough theory to understand what that means

There's certainly an attitude of "we should be able to federate with large leftist communities and then spout false right-wing talking points without being challenged >:("

The reality is: Nobody is sure, any nuclear bombing is species-wide suicide at worst, an insanely pointless gamble at best. The vague consensus seems to be it would take a maximum 100 warheads to irreversibly destroy ecology worldwide, some suggest it would only take a few modern warheads. I suggest we do all we can to not fucking find out.

The two nuclear bombs dropped by the US on Japan were pointedly targeting mass civilian population centres, I don't think you can rely on them being targeted with any real strategic logic, they are the tools of the genocidal and the deranged.

I've got to say, Steam's native Wine/Proton implementation works decently well, and really entices me to buy games without native Linux support on Steam.

Absolutely fair point, you may well be right. I pretty much agree on all points.
