Yes. Its tilling.Inn my opinion, if you wanna go the wm route, why not go the tiling route and get rid of using mouse alltogether (ツ)

You honestly can't go wrong with using i3. It's super simple to use and has great documentation.

Syntax wise, JS, specially TS has a great syntax and go is much weirder. I don't care what the haters say. JS syntax is very understandable. And you can see why Rust has borrowed a lot of syntax from TS and JS. And I think knowing js is much more useful,but if you want to build big backends with good performance, go is better.

You can buy a refurbished or second hand laptop with a good gpu for half the price of an external GPU.
