First shave with the passaround Horizon went exceedingly well. Super smooth shave on setting 4 with no nicks or irritation. Also my first time using an AC razor. The width of the head was a little odd at first, but I adjusted pretty quickly. Great shave all around.
Lampasas is one of the scents Stirling released for Black Friday this year. It's like a toned-down Texas on Fire, with a bit more woodiness and sage underneath. The notes they give it are Texas cedarwood oil, sweetgrass, sage, and mesquite smoke. I very much enjoy the scent -- just the right amount of smoke for me.
Have a great Saturday!

Using a new-to-me brush and razor for the first time on loan from a Discord friend. The brush is super nice, and I really enjoyed the razor but had a pretty rough shave. The combo of a new blade and a new razor was not exactly kind to my chin!

Happy Friday!

Very good shave, I enjoy the fragrance of Switchback and it combined nicely with Santa Noir and Egoiste.
Almost to the weekend!
Varen is so good!
Unfortunately the soap and splash both gave me frag burn so I moved them along. Held on to the EdT though. It's a great fougere.

ZM Mousse Illuminee is an interesting take on the fougere. The artisan scent notes are:
> Treemoss, Frankincense, Green Cypress, Artemisia, Laurel Leaves, Cedar, White Floral Notes, White Musk.
I definitely picked up on the frankincense and a slight muskiness, with a hint of sweetness on top. A very interesting scent, but not one that I think I'd reach for often if I had a full tub.
Thanks u/LarskiTheSage for the smush! I'm glad I got the opportunity to try this one, as I've been curious about it for a while now. :)

Do you participate in AoC every year?
I’ve started a couple years but always struggle to finish.

Sorry you've been having a hard time. I'm sure leaving this job will help, at least. Continuing to work while burnt out requires so much energy. It's taken me months to recover from burnout in the past.
Also, crying is healthy fuck the haters.
