  • Brush: Declaration Grooming - "Blood of Kings" Jefferson B14 28mm Badger
  • Razor: Atelier Durdan Horizon
  • Blade: Schick Proline (3)
  • Lather: Barrister and Mann - Spice - Soap
  • Post Shave: Barrister and Mann - Reserve Spice - Aftershave
  • Post Shave: Oleo & Co. - Facial Toner - Toner
  • Fragrance: GLHF Workshop - Polyphemus - EdT

I dropped the Horizon down to setting 1 this morning, which is the mildest setting. This gives it pretty negative blade exposure, and necessitated a steeper angle with the razor to get a good shave.

Very comfortable shave though once the angle was right. It was a definite decrease in efficiency, but the result is still a very close shave.

I feel like I’ve been deceived this whole time…

Lovely wood-floral shave this morning. I love Tres Matres, and the Stirling RG dupe was a pleasant end to the shave.

Good luck with the Monday, y'all.

It's a chilly night here so some sweet, spicy, boozy-tobacco and vanilla goodness felt just right.

The Traditionalist is one of the Zingari Man scents that I'd like to try at some point. Sounds like a nice, mild scent.

I've realized recently (after having some smushes returned to me) that the particular wax paper I used for those smushes is not great for the task.

I'm glad you liked it even if it arrived mangled and weakly scented. :)

Almost a flawless shave on setting 6 with the Horizon, but I nicked myself ATG right at the end. I'm really enjoying this razor. Nice weight in the hand, and the adjustable mechanism is very unique.

Do you have pictures of before/after? Sounds like an awesome project.

I don't think I realized that you fly RC planes. That's awesome! What sort of planes do you fly?

Sorry you've been having a hard time. I'm sure leaving this job will help, at least. Continuing to work while burnt out requires so much energy. It's taken me months to recover from burnout in the past.

Also, crying is healthy fuck the haters.
