It was beautiful and extremely difficult. Easily the most challenging backpacking trip I've been on.

Each day was 6k+ feet of climbing, and we were above 9k feet elevation the whole time. Got caught in a lightning storm, got caught in a hail storm on the last day. Some real "type 2 fun" for sure.

Quick two pass shave after returning from my weekend backpacking trip in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. It was extremely difficult but full of beauty. I am very tired.

I've fallen from the MMOC Master Quest because it would have been irresponsible (and extra weight on my back!) to pack my shave kit into a protected wilderness area. I'll continue to use the MMOC through the end of the month, but my quest for mastery will have to wait for next year.

Another good shave.

This afternoon I leave for a 3-day backpacking trip in a protected wilderness area, so this will be the end of my MMOC Master Quest run. I'll probably continue using the MMOC and this blade when I return from my trip. TBD whether I stick with the same software. All of this assumes that I don't fall off a cliff or get eaten by a bear.

Great shave. The blade is definitely losing some sharpness, but as long as I listen carefully and mind my angles I still get very close results.

This tub is starting to show a little bit of the bottom through the middle of the soap. Will I have a ring of death by month's end?

One cool thing to note is that Voyager, the iOS app that I use for Lemmy, also lets me log into this piefed server. Neat!
