think of the landlords. if you give people free housing what will landlords do? you can't expect them to contribute something!
The only thing trickling down is piss. People still drink it though.

Canada Post reported a before-tax loss of $254 million for its second quarter. Revenue dropped by $78 million, or six per cent, year-over-year. Canada Post announced a transformation plan in June that targeted the e-commerce market for parcel delivery but ruled out staffing cuts.
Which is just repeated multiple times. I wasn't aware that Canada Post was supposed to be profitable.
IMO it was just a really bad time to announce that project with all the other shit going on.
