Yeah basically all modern cars have tiny interior volumes, even tho externally they are huge.

As a comparison, my 2014 Nissan Note can maximally carry 2012 liters. The 2023 Renault Espace - a label whose name literally means spacious - can only carry 1818 liters. And that's while it's 50cm taller, wider and longer than the Nissan while weighing a whopping 50% more.

I am very conflicted about Arch. I similarly disliked it for actual use, because it's so unstable. On the other hand, the arch docs are a goldmine.

I think it just depends on what you want to do with your system. Do you like to tinker? Arch (and similar distros) are great. Do you just want things to work mostly out of the box? Use an Ubuntu flavor or an Ubuntu derivative.

This could be straight out of the Revenger series.

I work for a scale-up that was founded in the UK. We have an office in the UK, and one in the Netherlands. When I started the Dutch office was just 4 people, with the vast majority of employees in the UK. Now it's the complete reverse. Almost everyone is in the Netherlands. The UK office even closed recently, with those remaining now having to work out of WeWork. Meanwhile the Dutch office is bursting at the seams. Key reason: most of our employees are EU citizens, who returned to the mainland post-Brexit.

For me it's back to the pirating era.

People should have more children in the West. Especially Europe is demographically killing itself by decades of low birth rates.

To be fair, drive-in also exists in Europe and really took a flight during Covid.

My experience with toilets in the UK is basically crap, crappier, crappiest. Either dirty, malfunctioning, in a very odd location (once stayed in a place where you couldn't close the door if you sat normally on the seat, so you had to shit sideways), or any combination thereof.

What would the Romans have hoped to gain by letting someone proselytize that notoriously incompatible-with-the-pantheon religion to the layfolk?
