Which one? Mind sharing?

Huh, not what I would have expected. I work for a company that has sadly shifted very AI-focused, with the exception of the actual engineers. Literally none of us likes or uses LLMs. Every other week someone from the C-suite reminds us that we are encouraged to use it, and get 300$ or some such in credits for AI tooling per month, and that they don't understand why it hasn't been claimed even once.

I'm so torn on this, because IN THEORY the argument "git blame should show the dunce who committed this" makes sense.

But then why not add the AI as a co-committer.

(All of this of course sidesteps the actual question, "why the fuck are you allowing AI contributions in the first place".)

My PC is either on (when I am actively sitting in front of it working) or off (all other times). With a cool down, of course, for coffee breaks or a quick lunch.

I think the trans movement dug a deep hole for itself when it promoted transition surgery for minors.

We didn't. Noone is even advocating for that. That is 100% a right-wing straw-man.

That works both ways though, when an “F” on the license is for someone who is 6’3" with quarterback shoulders and five-o’clock shadow.

Exactly, and now there's gonna be a ton of beardy, muscly men who are forced to revert to an "F" on their licenses.

No, with the incorrect one.

The argument conflates privacy with secrecy. What we want is not to be allowed to "scheme nefariously in secret" but to enjoy ourselves without being watched, in private.

Also: just knowing that you could be watched does change your behavior, even if you have absolutely nothing to hide.

It absolutely is.

There's also a lot of different variations of fetishes involving piss. For the "get pissed on / in / drink it" part of the fetish, I have a hunch that piss sits right on the boundary of gross/humiliating, but not actually harmful.

Well.

For me at least.

LLMs will never be conscious.

Please tell me this is a satirical nod towards Honey & Co.
