Yes, they help make my terminal prettier.

Yikes, mine are not cargos but... I'll leave my khakis on this side of the Atlantic.
Semi-serious question but totally OT.
I actually like (among others) khaki chinos, and where I live they have no right-wing association that I know of.
Should I avoid them when I come to the US on business from time to time? Is there a chance I will be mistaken for a nazi?
What else should I avoid?
Every 30 minutes? Nope. More like every 6 minutes.
Most days you could say the same (though to a slightly lesser degree) about the Japanese.
Depending on the situation, I could consider that a feature. Considering we're all gathered to hate on American and chinese cloud-dependent crapware, there's something to be said for a decent product that's lagging behind on the high-tech side.
Ask someone who's into race biking what they think of Italian bikes.
To be clear I'm a mountain biker, and Italians have been out of that game for a long time. But it's my understanding that e.g. Bianchi and Campagnolo are very well respected.
I'm 14 and this is deep.
Oh, sweet summer child...
Of course you can introduce all kinds of serialization and parts pairing just like you do on any other device. Below is a fairly mild example, but just look at all the bullshit John Deere is pulling on their tractor repair or the BMW where the car will intentionally malfunction if you don't replace your battery at a dealership.
And Google Wallet is also not a bank...
Yes there are. Some can be made to mostly work without Google Services, and the majority do work perfectly well with microG.
I have apps from three different banks (I know, ridiculous, but there are reasons) on my /e/OS Fairphone 4 and as far as I can tell they all work 100%.
Also, they very intentionally decided to block use of their app on custom ROMs, cutting out all Graphene/Calyx/e/OS users.
So... not great.
Unironically, 7zip is the best. It's widely available, open source, and.... Multithreaded. Really helps when I need to compress a few hundred gigs of experimental data at the 24 core workstation.
