I was wondering when he’d start doing this shit. He cooked the books for his own businesses, why wouldn’t he do the same thing here.

Won’t this shit hurt the dollar more and more. Why would anyone buy bonds from an entity who is cooking the books? I wouldn’t buy stock in a company that was lying about their financial performance.

When it’s used correctly, it should be adding a little extra color or context that’s not critical for most users, but will be helpful to a certain segment.

Or it’s bullshit that you -know- the user doesn’t care about, but it’s needed to make some person or department happy.

Or it’s a dark pattern.

Problem with leading with the fact that NPR only gets a small portion of it’s budget from the CPP, is that it ignores that the locally funded affiliates pay for NPRs content. And a lot of those smaller affiliates are now going away.
