Maybe this? https://castopod.com
FWIW, I grinded the aCloudGuru series for Security Specialty and was able to take the exam directly off that. TBH, I didn’t even do the labs. That said, I have quite a bit of security xp (though less direct AWS xp). There is a mobile app for aCG (now owned by Pluralsight maybe?) so you could listen/watch on the go.
Ah interesting. One more in the “negative” column for Bluesky then imo. What Mastodon gets right (perhaps in a sea of things that it gets wrong) is that it relies on people to build and maintain their communities, rather than hoping that technology can solve all the issues of moderation, etc… Yeah, there are improvements that we hope will get to AP. It’s obvious bsky is just not the future.
Whatever it is, I’m looking forward to the eventual release!
It’s a microblogging service (similar to Twitter), ran by a small dev team and backed by Jack Dorsey (of Twitter origin). It’s been in “invite-only” closed beta forever so it has never really gone super mainstream. Some communities have kinda made their way over there but for the most part it seems threads and mastodon will run away with things in terms of being heirs to Twitter (imo). Bluesky is building their own platform (AT) that will allow others to stand up their own “bluesky” instances that federate with each other, similar to how mastodon works on the Fediverse with ActivityPub. Not sure what the progress is with that but am skeptical it will ever actually be a popular choice given the success of AP/Fediverse and the fact that threads and other large platforms (Wordpress, Tumblr, etc…) have already implemented or committed to building in AP support.

Here’s some tips for paring a feed gone mad down… https://shellsharks.com/notes/2023/08/10/curating-mastodon-feed
Happy Fediversing!
I am a pretty heavy “Fediverse user” (Mastodon + Lemmy/Kbin) and my feeds have VERY little Linux talk. There is an incredibly diverse set of folks on the ‘verse but admittedly discoverability is hard. If the only people in your circle are Linux nerds then that’s all that might be boosted into your timeline. Put some effort into finding other folks and unfollow some of the Linux-only voices :-).
His friends kept telling him to stop being a square…
Agreed! Keeping momentum is always key and if it takes switching gears to a diff project then thats great. Always fun to pick up a new domain for a new project too =)
There’s ample time, you just need to not overthink the questions. Which I’ll admit might be a challenge since a lot of the questions appear to not be written very well or by native English speakers =/.
Also, I think CISSP has moved to a new model where if you are scoring questions correctly as you go through they will just end the exam and give you a passing grade before you’ve even reached the end of the question bank. I took the exam before they moved to this model though so I can’t really confirm. Good luck!

For a time I was prepping for OSWE from OffSec but my schedule did not really allow me to commit fully to it. I haven’t really put much thought into what to do next if not for that. By Q2 next year I should have time for something new.
