Yes, the option can be found under Threads > Permanently hide posts
within KES. Note that due to its design, you may briefly see such content when the page loads in but before it is scrubbed out.
This option is going to get significantly powered-up in the next version to do more than just place a link, stay tuned.
You can create a new prefix/profile with no extensions in it and use this as a "control" to test whether it works without those. Then, on your normal profile, start by enabling only one extension, then two, etc., to try to drill down to see if it's localized to a particular one.
Well, if you aren't running browser extensions (add-ons) in your browser, then that can't be the cause. Sometimes extensions may conflict with the browser and drag performance, so it can be good to get closer to a vanilla state, but sounds like you already are there.
Itemize what extensions you are running and try creating a vanilla prefix (firefox -P
), then testing it there, and use process of elimination to narrow down which one(s) may be the root cause.
I believe you need to open it in regular Safari, @1chemistdown could clarify further; I am not sure on the iOS lingo.
Just added it for inclusion in the next release.
Take a look at KES and the option Navbar > Add subs to navbar
, which puts a direct link at the top of the page.
Perhaps this could be updated to contain two checkboxes: hide thread index thumbnails, hide inline thumbnails
