Is Violent World the album with a song by Zombina & The Skeletones? I don't think I have that one but I may have heard of it. I do have another Misfits tribute album called Graven Images: A Tribute to the Misfits (2000) and it's all stoner rock bands. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet so I couldn't tell you if it's good though. I suspect there are probably a few Misfits tribute albums out there.

Honestly the main reason I know the Odds is because this music video was featured on Beavis & Butt-head once, lol. I grew up in the middle of nowhere and even though the show was kind of stupid they always had the best variety of music that was available to us at the time.

thx Fazerdaze is pretty good, I've been into the dreamy/ambient music lately

Yeah this one is among my favorites too.

Outside of the "Crazy" single I barely know them. I've listened to Chomp maybe twice, I need to give it more attention.

The whole album is mostly post-punk but the single "Crazy" is more jangle pop. R.E.M. covered it for a b-side to the "Wendell Gee" single.

Yeah, I kind of figured. Like, just the fact that it's a band from that scene is a pretty big red flag. It's not really my kind of music anyway tbh I just like the cover.

Disclaimer: I do not know if Forgotten Woods was among the Norwegian Black Metal groups from the early 1990s who were also neo-Nazis but, I mean, there's a pretty solid chance they were. That whole scene, you know. I only posted this cover because the image is striking to me, it looks like it might be taken from an old movie (early 20th century) but not one that I have identified. Also the girl looks like someone I knew back in high school so maybe that's why I find the image so eye-catching.

Mr. Blackheart?

Myees my pretty?

Are you an ivory dealer?

Oh ho ho ho, I've had lots of jobs. Whale hunter. Seal clubber. President of the FOX network. And yeah, like most people, I've dealt a little ivory.

It's a song about being a fly and spreading disease.

I really like this album but the similarity of the cover to Weezer's "Blue Album" really can't be ignored lol

Yeah I honestly had to debate with myself over the NSFW tag since you can barely tell lol

It's a cool cover, tho

It's from the episode where the family goes on vacation to the Flanders' lake house in that town with the absurdly long name that I don't remember and Lisa starts dressing differently and makes a group of new friends, one of whom is Christina Ricci. I think it was the seventh season, I don't recall the title.

EDIT: Sorry I might not have followed the rules here correctly, I am stoned. The joke is that Marge says "I'm never gonna let you go" or something like that to Maggie because Lisa is trying to be independent or something, and Maggie is worried because her mom is being clingy.

EDIT 2: Sorry again, I actually took a look at this, uh, sublemmy's other posts and it appears that I was actually supposed to respond with a quote from the episode. So like, you know, whatever.

I legit laughed like five minutes first time seeing that shot. The fact that he also looks like Timothy Leary is icing on the cake.
