For me the perfect example is GNOME Builder (I use KDE Plasma) but this package has it all. No, you dont need to download any dependencies, the sandbox handles it all!

I like to say that GNOME is a consumer DE, while KDE is a hobbyist DE. I let my wife use GNOME cause of simplicity, but I use KDE Plasma for my desktops.

When I saw NeXTStep running on Steve's new NeXT computer I knew I wanted to work on that machine. I studied everything they printed, without a machine I learned Objective C.
