pv (Pipe Viewer) is a command line tool to view verbose information about data streamed/piped through it. The data can be of any source like files, block devices, network streams etc. It shows the amount of data passed through, time running, progress bar, percentage and the estimated completion time.

I really like the rules to this system. Especially the 3d6 method of rolling

Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader Story is cool, but you basically have to be bad. I prefer the combat over other types like BG3.

The support for NVIDIA hardware on Linux is not ideal at best. When I switched to all AMD I have since had a very smooth experience, especially with distro hopping.

Trying to see if I can use alcohol swabs to clean it.

This game seems difficult, weapons and shield constantly break. I am always out of stamina and keep dying. I am afraid to roam around, so no open world for me. Any tips, would be appreciated.

The inner circle so to speak

A Random Assortment of Role Playing Game curiosities

That’s right, we have. Well, kind of. We mentioned it briefly in 2019, at Gen Con, but the reference was so short and sparse that it didn’t spread. This was a blessing in disguise because of course the very next year COVID-19 spread across the world, forcing us to change our plans.

We changed them back this year. We’re doing it.

Let me tell you about this game. In fact, let me get a little cute about it since it’s truly under the radar.
