Can you try reinstalling the app? Not having this issue

No plans currently. Someone is working on a video player for us, but it’s super hard to get working well.

It’s a repackaged PWA using a web view for everything, using capacitor i believe

Yea that’s what i was talking about with the app version that uses web view. It’s very laggy because of technical limitations of making a web app run natively

Edit: nvm forgot we are talking about compact view 😔 Neither gk or I use compact so we tend to forget about it lol

Hmm? Username and community are basically in the same place as Apollo.

We plan on eventually adding kbin support!

You can block the instances now in Settings -> Filters if you know the instance name. We already have the functionality, i just need to add a button in the context menu to do it from the feed.

So for one, our font sizes are messed up at the moment. So that’s why the username is so big, it’s not intentional 😔. I don’t know if we will add a whole hide username option. But it should be improved eventually once we get all this fixed up.

We are working on it. We made some huge internal changes to the codebase and it affected a lot.

As one of the main Memmy devs, i really like Avelon. I appreciate he’s trying something pretty different and like the direction he’s taking.

Yea that’s what i was talking about with the app version. It just puts it in a web view on mobile, which makes it have terrible performance for me.

I can’t get on with voyager. What the dev has done with a React PWA app is amazing but not having haptics makes it feel too weird. And the new app version is just a web view and performance is awful for me, not sure if it’s better on newer phones. But i could learn a lot from what he’s done with React I’m sure.
