Another lurker here. Been well over a decade and this is the first time I feel like contributing again. Really hope the fediverse catches on this time.
I use it on Android via FDroid, where you have to install Fdroid via APK download from their website. You will have to allow installing apps from your browser. Then, after installing FDroid, you'll need to find jerboa there and install it (and allow installing apps from FDroid again as well). And Google's dumbass play protect will also complain, so you'll have to disable that, too.
Not sure if Jerboa is on the playstore? It's on git here.
Beim Programmieren gibt es verschiedene Stile der Variablenbenennung. Es gibt auch snake case und sowas. Hier ein paar Beispiele auf Wikipedia
Aren't RAID rebuilds on 16TB drives already like a week? Maybe those HAMR drives will have two actuators, but I still don't think that'll speed things up much.
Yup, I'm all for it. There's not many days left where this can be done.
I could see this being useful as a backup mechanism for niche subreddits like /r/hardware. Which could then be translated to the hardware@lemmy.ml community. But ultimately it needs users posting and commenting more.
That was my first thought as well. They want a walled garden and envy Facebook / Twitter for their anti-user practices. RSS runs counter to that
Voat kind of suffered from the problem of Marketing itself as a bAsTIOn oF FreE SpEeCH and thereby attracting mainly the Facebook crowd
Jerboa is pretty good :)
It's a shame that, like Blair the war criminal and Cameron, who is responsible for Brexit, he will suffer no consequences and live out the rest of his life in unfathomable luxury.
Hmmm, your tone is a bit edgy, but perhaps it was unintentional. The difference between 120fps and 60fps is pretty huge to me. I once had a 4k monitor (on 1440p now), and played on my other 1080p one instead, just for more FPS. Isn't it a question of preference? Some people prioritise image quality over FPS, some do the opposite. Either is fine, no need to 'prove anyone wrong'...
