That's a function of federation to some degree. At the same time, I used to get posts in various languages on Reddit also.
You could either ignore them, auto translate them or try to block content from German speaking communities. But the latter might be rather a lot of work.
This is crazy stuff. I wish there was a documentary made about these people, who seemingly lack any sense of self preservation :D
Haha, I was thinking the same thing. Originally I was like "why are they still calling it M2, when it has double the performance. That has to be a new architecture surely." Turns out it's two M2s glued together. Of course performance is roughly double in parallel applications.
I don't understand these bitter people who don't want anyone else to have anything better in their lives. Well done paying off your debt, perhaps you did it in times when it was easier to pay off the loan, so is it fair that people have to pay off the loan in worse times still? The fairness argument is completely flawed.
I have a huge mortgage. If everyone else had their mortgages forgiven, I wouldn't piss and moan on the internet, I'd be happy for my fellow humans that their lives got better.
If you want more 'fairness' in the world, maybe start working in a homeless shelter, or volunteer in mental health services.
I've had cancer with worse medicine than modern generations, so nobody else should get better treatment, it's not fair...
I sort of wonder whether the dropping birthrates are the last form of 'protest' we have left. It's not a real protest but simply neoliberal capitalism's consequences coming home to roost.
Admittedly, by the time it matters, powerful people can probably be made to live forever in some kind of Elysium style space station while the rabble fights over scraps, policed by autonomous robots.
Ok, at first that sounds completely insane. But actually, that looks like a 96 core part. And then you're looking at roughly 100mb per core cache. Which is still a lot, but if it's all L3 or L4 or something, then we're not too far away from the current state of the art.
"we have tried nothing and it's just not working!!"
What we should do:
- make drugs even mOaR iLLeGaLler
- waste even more money on a futile war on drugs
- continue to demonise drug users by making addiction a purely ethical / moral failing for the weak spirited and poor only
- maintain a double standard where minorities get prosecuted for drug offenses and rich people can just do whatever they want with impunity
What we must never, ever do:
- declare addiction a disease or illness
- regulate drugs to ensure users are at least getting untainted products
- god forbid just legalise drugs and take all the control out of the hands of all these evil, evil drug traffickers
- accept / understand that where there is demand, there will be supply. Somehow we have deregulated every walk of life in favour of rampant capitalism, but selling drugs is only allowed if the people like the Sacklers get to fuck up society
This sort of fear mongering is beyond insane and completely misses the point that drug policy has completely failed for decades and things won't improve by sticking with this Nixonian BS that the US forced onto the world in order to destroy the counter culture of the 60s...
