Etwas OT aber eine andere Perspektive zu diesem Problem:

Ich habe nie verstanden warum in Altenheimen Alkohol, Drogen und Rauchverbot herrscht.

Wer sein Leben lang Rauschmittel konsumiert hat, soll es meiner Meinung nach auch im betreuten wohnen machen dürfen. Wer im Alter damit anfangen möchte, sollte auch die Möglichkeit dazu haben.

(Von sex will ich gar nicht reden, da gibt es nun wirklich keine vernünftigen Gründe das auch nur einzuschränken)

I tried hyprland. It's okish and very (very) colorful.

For a tiling wm it's just over complex and does not integrate well with other tools. The configuration is a nightmare tbh.

If you want to get your fingers dirty on tiling WM using Wayland Sway is just fine. It's minimalistic and feels almost like i3.
