I missed the !television thread last week so I’ll post what I watched here:

Zero Day - It was meh. Unresolved plot points and unrealistic tech where it was supposed to be sort of grounded in reality. The performances from the main cast were good though.

Samurai Champloo - Finally finished the entire 2 seasons. I loved it. Dare I say it was better than Cowboy Bebop. The characters and stories are more interesting. And of course the soundtrack is great, nearly on par with Yoko Kano’s music for Cowboy Bebop.

28 Years Later - I can’t really decide if it was good or bad. I don’t really have an opinion. lol

Around 4 years into my working life. By then I was 2 years into my second job. That’s when I realized I should be working the equivalent of what I was being paid, not more.

I’m a fan of big screens myself. What I’m not a fan of is putting everything into that screen. I want the screen for the infotainment system only. All hvac and essential controls should still be physical buttons and dials. And of course, ditch all the tracking and data collection that comes with the car.

I hate to say it, and I really hope I’m wrong, but sugar substitutes and artificial sweeteners. I myself use them to cut my sugar intake and have resorted to the most naturally occurring option (stevia). I hope there are no long term negative effects once they’ve existed long enough for scientists to study them.

This time it’s sad for me because I’m nearing the end of a 2-week PTO.

How do you keep the panko from being blown off in the air fryer? I use the air fryer a lot but usually go back to traditional deep frying when I use panko.
