The key is whether or not someone would confuse one franchise for another based on the aesthetics. People were losing their minds over Palworld being a ripoff of Pokemon when it first released.

And much like video games, a lot of this type of hardware is only supported as long as the manufacturer decides that it's worth their time.
What's going to happen to all this surveillance equipment when the cheapo manufacturer declares it all obsolete? Because no HOA is going to dish out the big bucks for high quality equipment from a reputable supplier and monthly fees for maintenance by a qualified specialist.
I have an SFF gaming PC with high-end components, including a 3-slot GPU. The cable management is basically just cramming the power cables between the power supply and the bottom of the case.
The side panel just clips on, so I can't even use it to hold the cables in.
