Wasn't it because she got a new role on Becker? I don't believe she was fired at all, and honestly she knew the series was winding down and got a new role at a new show that went on for 7 years, it obviously was the right move for her

Best answer here. He's also focused on how he looks which reinforces he just wants sex.

How do you approach a woman in real life? Easy, same as you'd approach a man. Don't do anything different, it's pretty easy.

Unless he could have built up some legal protection and written proof that he's not accepting any donations for this project, alleviating any future claims that he's accepting money under the table - as they are now.

"Every rose has it's thorn" - Oh my god this song is about me

Beautiful. And the end was perfect, Colbert letting everyone know that he's not going away quietly

I don't keep up with trends because honestly, I don't know how people do, apparently I'm not in the right circles, but I watch this YouTuber's videos who tries to show how stupid and wasteful these trends are https://youtu.be/b8TRI63WkP8

He did not pursue funding against the better judgements of others because he "didn't know how to handle it". Now this is happening and I'm not surprised. If you get this politically active you pretty much need a lawyer.

God he was told to hire a lawyer to manage funding and he didn't.

Wow we sure what to hang out on your post when you call us all "new fuckers"

Nextcloud remains one of the buggiest and half finished projects I've seen in the homelab space. I swear most of my time using nextcloud has been trying to repair nextcloud

Nah really it was probably some small thing the media got a hold of and just ran with. I think you're spot on

Dude stole his friends passcode to his internal only development iPhone and then makes a video for his shitty YouTube channel never thinking through the consequences. He got his friend fired from Apple over it too. Shit guy right there.

TheFactory: Day 2 (poptalk.scrubbles.tech)

Day one was fairly efficient, we've unlocked Tier 4 and have slowed down a bit there to focus on production. Rotors are at about 20/min and I'm currently doubling reinforced plates to bring frames online. Hoping to unlock railways today to finally get out of Dune Desert.

Power Towers are a game changer early game, we rushed to get those done and it has to be the easiest early-game way to get around

Don't forget if you like you can tune in to my build here: https://owncast.scrubbles.tech

PS if you look real closely you can see the three separate hub locations we've had, constantly moving and changing

Today is the big day, day one of my new factory! Small beginnings, posting regular updates here. Wish me efficiency.

And if you're someone who likes to watch, I'll be streaming the whole thing here on the Fediverse at https://owncast.scrubbles.tech

Completely missed this, but a great cover IMO

You thought the "We don't know when GTA 6 will come out, we can only guess" articles were bad? Here come the 1000s of "articles" saying "EvErY DeTAiL BroKEn DoWN".

Don't click them kids, they have nothing new, you didn't miss anything in the trailer, they don't know anything more than you do.

Hey folks, I'm at my wits end. I've been screwing with proxmox for years now, but I'm at a tipping point. I've just used consumer SSDs in it to run my VMs off of - but I just realized after a dozen or so crashes over the last week that I think the SSDs are the culprit. (Really, really terrible write speeds leading to kernel crashes I believe).

I've never gotten an enterprise SSD, if that's even what I need. Any recommendations? New? Used? Brands?

Appreciate it

Official Memo: Pioneers are hereby granted a 120 second break to use the screenshot/photo mode to share a picture of something that they have built that is exceedingly efficient.

Maybe a regular thread, maybe not, we'll see how popular it is, but show off something cool you've built! A building, an efficient factory module, something artistic, take a moment to show off that thing you were really proud of, we want to see it!

I'm noticing an influx of Reddit users today, maybe revolving around their weird bug they had today. I know this question pops up semi regularly, but for those just getting their foot in the door maybe we can help show them what else is out here on the Fediverse to help them get started.

I'll kick us off, to any newcomers, I help run the following communities, and we'd welcome you to any of them. (Shameless self promotion I know, but I hope more people join in sharing theirs as well)

For help and support, taken right from the sidebar of AskLemmy here

An important one to kick off, we do have an entire community just for this over at !communitypromo@lemmy.ca (https://lemmy.ca/c/communitypromo) for a more long-running conversation

For new users, I hope you find some communities that you enjoy! For current users, share your favorite communities that new folks may be interested in! (Please use both the !@_ notation and give a link, to help our new fediverse people out in learning how it works)
