Ashley's poetry is worse than her space racism. Don't get me wrong it's a close number 2, but I always want to punch her after she recites the poetry

This might be my favorite meme of all time.

I have 3000 hours in satisfactory and I refuse to believe it is an addiction

Don't be so quick to blame AI. this is horrible photo shopping at its prime. The glass of wine may as well be cut from a magazine and glued on. The tray is skewed incorrectly

Look at all that NPR and PBS! Ugh, such a waste of taxpayer money

I've done renegade runs dozens of times where I'm a dick to most people, but my crew is hard. I've only successfully done it once where I was a dick to everyone. At the end all but I think grunt survived 2 or something. Avoided any loyalty missions where I couldn't see value in it. Mission always comes first. It was horrible. It was the saddest. Party. Ever.

I think we're talking about different things. There's a difference between not being allowed to play video games and having a video game schedule with max one hour a day vs an actual addiction, being unable to stop. In this thread we're referring to the people who treat it as a hobby, but who are not allowed to have it as a hobby.

Oh I agree the system is fucked and cobra is equally bad. Being forced into this system though I would urge people to have enough in savings so that if they are dropped tomorrow from insurance they can at least rest easy knowing they have health care. Individually be ready for that rainy day. Societally yes let's rip down our healthcare system

You are with your kin here

I mean, young people can't afford their houses, at some point something's gotta give, or yeah they'll sell them to corporations.

Yeah steams silence has been deafening through this. Itch came out and explained what was happening, GoG did this. All quiet from Steam.

Has anyone else noticed this, across the fediverse, Lemmy specifically. A lot of new users, but also a lot of first posts that are very inflammatory/rage baity.

Do we have another legit influx of new users? Or do we just have some bad actors trying to stir the pot? Or maybe I'm imagining it.

I agree with her, but I wish she would have pushed the driving aspect a bit more.

Totally not related to another post in this community...

What fearmongering do you find laughably wrong? What do you witness everyday that makes others clutch their pearls while watching the news?

For those who don't know, Snutt & Jace were the two community managers who really embodied Satisfactory, and for the last several years they've brought us some of the best Satisfactory content and have really set the gold bar standard for community management.

I'm very happy to see them working together again and hope others will enjoy it as well.

A quick 7-minute short film I found enjoyable about loneliness. Surprised to find a copy online still.

"Be Ready for Today" They're so supportive and enthusiastic, and because of this they're killing off most of (maybe all?) of their WeMo line:

But hey, at least we know that they're very appreciative of us, and that they wanted to provide us with simple to use accessories, and that they're proud. Their empty corporate words make up for the pieces of ewaste we now have.

I believe WeMo with a lot of hacking can be controlled locally via a direct IP connection if set up through Home Assistant. It's a pain, and it still requires their app, so maybe try to set it up now before they officially end support. Even without this workaround, it's pure enshittification and Belkin is back on the "Don't ever buy" list.
