Dang, I didn't realize Oglaf did storylines this long. Fun stuff!
It sure as hell isn't a Shower Thought
I think that's a letter from the Yautja alphabet
What gets me is that they are always fucking spotless. My '09 Ranger is all dirty, scratched up, with various straps and ropes in the bed.
God forbid they use their truck like a truck.
Rumor is he dies in the first 20 minutes. To "make the plot intense and unpredictable".
Nothing against the actor, but creating a boring character to hang the plot on was always a dumb decision for a franchise with lore like Mortal Kombat.
I think there was a lot more going on than that. Benioff and Weiss wanted out. They wanted to collect all their accolades and move on to fresh IPs. HBO was happy to give them more money and time to construct full-length seasons, but they chose to push the last two with shorter runs.
I think if they had handed the show off to fresh showrunners ready to build on the existing plot threads and pacing of the show, we'd be looking back on it very differently.
I would add Neil Newbon to the list that really stood out. I thought his acting through the end of Astarion's quest line was the best in the game.
Yeah, this is one meme template that comes with too much baggage
I know people hate the idea of console exclusivity, but without it, that's what really killed the Xbox for me. I've got a gaming PC and a PS5 (not Pro), and I could afford an Xbox Series X if I really wanted to. I simply don't know of any games on the platform that I want and can't get somewhere else.
And that's not coming from a reflexive Microsoft hater. I had an OG Xbox (and loved the old Duke controller), 360, and One S. I just barely played the latter.
They run good deals on audio books and Pathfinder material every once in a while. Otherwise, yeah, been a while since I saw a game bundle that was worth the money.
Hank Green had a quick video on this recently. Airports like LAX are laid out in such a way that it can take up to two hours to get from the curb to the gate. Rather than try to offer more targeted advice, passengers are just given a flat 2-3 hour number to ensure the majority of people will get in on time. It's overkill for most airports, but you need to do your due diligence
