Not an Arab but I really appreciate just how "human" most of Lemmy is. There are of course a lot of insane people still but I don't usually come away from Lemmy with the same general malaise that I did on reddit.

No in this comparison the firefighters let the arsonist start the fire and have talked a whole lot about how they are going to save my wife and children, but haven't actually moved inside the house except for one firefighter, who the others admonished for being to radical.
I don't really like this way of thinking. Women are just people, as are men. A matriarchy isn't preferable to a patchriarchy.
They think judges going against the Trump admin and then doing nothing to enforce it is an "L" for Trump some how.

I made an account at the start of the year before changing to make one not associated with my at all. The redditification of Lemmy had become so much worse even just since I got here.
Music piracy is just so much harder than streaming.
This made me audibly sigh. They won't put it like this but this genuinely the future some people want.
Usually it works but, every once and a while they have an update that breaks shit but they usually fix it pretty quickly.
