... I'm not blind, right? She has her panties on display? That absolutely falls under "suggestive" imo.

Comparing being asked to tone down your marketing materials for an all ages game to censorship of explicitly nsfw games is also kinda scummy. You aren't having your livelihood threatened by this.

I like the implication that two people bumping into each other is considered a traffic accident.

I had a visceral reaction to this because obviously the wish count should be decremented before the wish takes place. Even though I can't think up a convincing technical argument for it.

I really hope you're right, strange frog...

Another question, actually... How would killing yourself help here? Why not just measure the election 100 times, go "huh, neat" and carry on living your life.

If you do the quantum coinflip 100 times and live, all you've proven is that you live in a universe where that outcome happened. There's no evidence that there's other universes where the coin flips went differently.

Would it? I would assume a "confirmed human" Fedi account could be worth $5-20. If you live close enough to the library, it's like 5 mins to pop in, drop off the piece of paper and go about your day. Double if you can sneak in two pieces of paper.

What's stopping someone making a new account every month this way or going to many different libraries and then just selling the account to bot farm operators?

Another thing worth asking yourself (or even this thread): What do you think is wrong with it? What wrongdoing are you "guilty" of by looking at spicy stuff?

... I don't have any trust that the US government will do anything pro-lgbt, pro-freedom-of-expression or pro-women.

Porn addiction is a real thing that happens: there’s definitely guys out there that can’t get off without it or even get it up with their girlfriend without it.

Some women can't get off without using a vibrator, are they addicted to sex toys? Should they avoid using them for their safety?

Why should we expect and demand men to always be able to go full mast on command whilst simultaneously telling women that it's okay if they need a little help?

An easy way to tell if you are addicted to porn is to ask whether it is getting in the way of other obligations in your life. If you've cancelled hanging out with friends or doing work because you were wanking instead, then it's a problem. But if you just want to knock out a quickie before bed, then there's no problem with it. The only unnatural thing about it is the guilt that centuries of christian culture has pushed onto people.

Fun little Wario-Ware like.

So I'm over 100 hours in and I've just reached the point where I've made it above Aquilo's orbit.

However, I wonder if I spent too much time setting up a janky interplanetary logistics system rather than just using Nauvis resources for science. Also, Gleba spiders keep eating my base.

Figured I'd ask then... How long did it take before you touched down on Aquilo in your playthrough?

Got sent this, and the animation is actually quite well done for how simple it is.

It's fun, and well worth looking at if you like smash.

Been playing this game a bit. Can't comment on how good it is compared to actual battlefield, but I've been having fun.

Currently in (free) beta, not sure how long they are doing their playtest for though.

Interesting piece of webdev solving.

Stumbled upon this game and had fun with the demo. Might be up some people's alley.

Hey all, I'm British so I don't really know the ins and outs of the US healthcare system. Apologies for asking what is probably a rather simple question.

So like most of you, I see many posts and gofundmes about people having astronomically high medical bills. Most recently, someone having a $27k bill even after his death.

However, I have an American friend who is quick to point out that apparently nobody actually pays those bills. They're just some elaborate dance between insurance companies and hospitals. If you don't have insurance, the cost is lower or removed entirely. Supposedly.

So I'm just asking... How accurate is that? Consider someone without insurance, a minor physical ailment, a neurodivergent mind and no interest in fighting off harassing people for the rest of their life.

How much would such a person expect to pay, out of their own pocket, for things like check ups, x rays, meds, counselling and so on?

I recently played through a demo for a game called Pinball Spire on steam, and it put me in the mood for playing pinball games. Unfortunately, and I don't know if this is just due to me having bad google-foo, there don't seem to be that many on Steam that catch my interest.

So figured I may as well make a thread asking about what the "state of the art" of pinball video games is. Some of the ones I've played:

  • Sonic Spinball: Very janky, but very unique and I don't think I've seen anyone try to do anything similar to it.
  • Pokémon Pinball and Sonic Pinball Party: Fairly standard pinball games, tbh. They're both on handhelds so they can't do that much.
  • Demon's Tilt and Xenotilt: Just really fun feeling arcade pinball games with a really fun tilt mechanic.

So yeah, know any good PC or console pinball games?

Oh, and can someone help me: I vaguely remember seeing a stream of a pinball game for the Mega Drive/SNES where the ball goes through multiple tables. Does anyone know what that game was called, if it even exists?

So https://meow.social/@TwilightSaint/112810490753805813 popped up in my feed and I had to find the full version. Sharing here because it's really nice.
