Als jemand, der seit 1998 beruflich mit Linux zu tun hat: nope.

Hmm schade. Ich hätte eigentlich gedacht gerade im Server und Cloud-Bereich bräuchte es massig Leute die sich mit den Linux Systemen auskennen.

Daß die bald teuer werden wird, weil MS und Co. einen dann an den Eiern hat und irre Preise verlangen wird, merkt halt niemand

Genau sowas nervt mich auch. Komplette Abhängigkeit und keinen interessierts.

Außerdem: Linux kennen reicht nicht. Docker, nginx, Postfix, Tomcat sollte man dann schon drauf haben.

Ist klar. Einiges kenn ich schon, anderes müsste ich sicher noch dazulernen.

Ja, es ist schon etwas pain. Wobei wir vorallem mit Wordpress arbeiten. Mit WP-Local hast du auch unter Windows schnell deine Dev-Umgebung hochgezogen, immerhin.

Web-Backend, also vorwiegend PHP. Dadurch habe ich oft mit Webservern zu tun, halt nur im Hosting. Aber da wir natürlich O365 im Einsatz und genügend MS-Jünger haben findet die Entwicklung und alles weitere auf Windows statt.
