I generally play a bard. I'm an annoying idiot. No, no... A frustrating annoying idiot.

They're very incompatible with infrastructure and environment.

When international companies build cars with the US in mind, they ensure they make sense in the US.

American cars are not tough enough for off-roading in most countries. They're too big and inefficient for on-road and urban. Where they do fit in, there's already many much better options and maintaining those fit-fir-purpose cars through their lifetime is much easier and cheaper because of after sale support and part availability.

You can improve a US car with modification, but it also isn't cheap and easy.

US car manufacturers can't compete with European and Asian manufacturers. They barely pull it off domestically. Only Ford has managed with its appeal to commercial fleets and some cars you can't even get in the US—that's how it's done if you want your shit bought.

As society continues to refine a shape of ideals, those that were once normal will continue to be labelled as abnormal. Until eventually those that fit the ideal of "normal" are outnumbered.

"I suffer from proacism."

"Oh, what's that?"

"There's nothing interesting about me. I try, but my mind is underpowered and my personality dull. I can't help but concentrate on the least exciting thing happening in the room. I'm not allowed in unpredictable environments in case I get injured. I'm terrible at sports but I like watching them, especially paying attention to all the commentary."

It's just Markov chains running on a heap of poorly governed sources. Expensive because Markov chains are brutish to process. The only intelligence is in the source they calculate on. Literally a basic "what goes in comes out" math process.

I once got called a Nazi and a Communist at the same time.

It was in response to a remark about social healthcare systems, which I can't deny both Marx and the Nazis' NSV were all for that. But one could note some slight differences in opinion on how to go about it, plus a few other little things here and there.

As someone that does plenty for the community, environment, and disaster services—the things I know I'm best at—I don't see what that has to do with withdrawing from society with the mind.

I'd rather protect my mental wellbeing so that I don't become jaded from the day in and day out of society, lest I go the way of so many others, doomscrolled into a state of apathy or even spite toward society. No one's ever lifted a finger for something they're mentally done with.

So I don't really understand your point on two levels, but I think it was worth mentioning that for anyone else. We all operate differently and if it works for us, it works for those around us 👍

My first thought is its not the microwave unless they're multitasking TV dinners and League of Legends a few times each evening.

I just got this hunch it's something like clogged channels or something, but OP thinks a microwave just sitting there is the issue. But that seems just as unusual.

I would hope for some of you, this is the first time seeing the C&H Mothman clips.

I was thinking about it. I donate to quite a few charities, but they specifically mean something to me. Others I don't really think about, though they're good. I guess we all have a threshold or we'd be broke and for many that could be no donations at all or just a fiver the the street guy.

It's an interesting diet this breed needs. Basically small frozen scraps, but very rich in content. Their digestive systems evolved as nomads north of the Arctic Circle and know nothing else, so a bit of care needs to be taken. His body will do a lot with the vital scraps of tundra animals, and doesn't know how to handle big foreign diets which make him unenergetic and unwell after a few meals.

Tonight's menu is sheep and beef tripe—their organs go well, but their meat and fat doesn't.

Frozen salmon cuts—these dogs know fish as well as reindeer and love frozen meet. They extract all the goods from them.

And a rabbit foot—Fur and bone is common in their diet and helps clean. They can start to poop bad without fur fibre.

One of the more tame dishes considering the other weird off cuts of bits and pieces he gets. Thought some may find it interesting for a bit of an unusual breed outside of Finland.

Edit: And yeah, the photo makes the meal look big and him small. But he's 20kg and that dish is about 3/4 a banana in diameter.

Just in case you're like me and forget to pay attention for a moment and three more albums slide on by without realising. It's also excellent, as usual. Probably a top 3 of their disco for my personal taste.

Because some genius in Japan wanted to know what would happen if you put a 4×4 drivetrain into a van.
