It's not just the Bears...most teams have a history of ineptitude and bad hires.

He had al the talent, but he was a drama queen.
I'm a Fields supporter and want the Bears to keep him. I think they can win with him. That said, we do have to see him play better at the end of the game (final two drives). I thought he showed signs of that (that bomb he through to Scott should've been caught) but we NEED TO SEE RESULTS.
Man, I really want him to be the guy, but somehow he withers at the end of games when the great QBs step up.
This...the game is on the line, who do you pick? Fields or Hurts?
Hell, the game is on the line, who do you pick, Fields or Bagent?
When was the last time Fields closed out a game? Was anybody surprised that the Detroit game ended with a strip sack fumble for points on Fields?
Mahomes didn't look crisp, but damn...his receivers let him down in that game.
Does anybody have any faith that Fields can drive the Bears down the Field to win in the closing seconds?
Does anybody have any faith that Fields can make a game securing first down or drive?
Does anybody have any faith that Fields can secure the win in the closing seconds of a game?
Do you think it is more likely that Fields has a sack, fumble (or both) or throws an INT instead of driving down the field for a win or even securing a victory?
This is the difference.
I mean, we had a 1.2% chance of losing the Detroit game, so I like these odds.
Elite players make those plays...he is not elite
Flus is the HC and DC...who handles these jobs the rest of the year?
He should never have been in that position, the defense should never have given up that many points. That said, has Fields ever had a game winning drive? Has he ever "won" the game?
The strip sack was so Fields, so on brand that I wasn't even surprised. Just nodded along with it.
Win, always win.
