This part is what really blows my mind. I guess there are some reddit influx that got confused by the "ml" domain or something?

In Thundar, you have to swipe left or right on comments for upvote, donwvote, reply, etc. It's not my favorite design and I've seen it before in a few reddit apps.

Jerboa is more straight forward on it's UI design choices but it feels a bet less stylish too(which I am fine with). But the replies, upvotes and downvotes are there under the comments, easy to find and access.

When your needs are met by the state, you tend to be less selfish. Or not selfish at all since you don't need to hoard the item. Besides Conquest of Bread, I'd suggest reading Wage-Labor And Capital for more understanding. At least if you are legit wanting to learn.

Here is a link where the dev confirms it is gonna be made: https://www.reddit.com/r/SyncforLemmy/comments/14ee1ul/_/

I imagine we won't see anything substantial for a few months though. I can't wait for it to get a release.

Fellow lefty. I do not miss the graphite smudges one single bit.

I'll post it after it's built but first I wanna try and get the firmware ported to Vial lol. I was hoping it would have been done by now so I wouldn't have to learn a new skill.

Yo, I am so pleased with how they turned out. I have always dug neon pink with black together so was really wanting to see how this turned out. The wait was worth it imo.

I am hoping to do a batch of purple sometime soon and have plans for an A.Dux build with them.

The only thing I really don't like about Miryoku was the symbol layer so it's been a journey trying to find something that works. I should have shared those links when I made this post. Sorry about that.

Obosob took down the keymap pin on reddit so I forget Mental's full user name but here is his blog post about the layer: https://getreuer.info/posts/keyboards/symbol-layer/index.html

This is the guy that developed Capsword. He has other posts that are worth checking out.

Here is KKGA: https://keymapdb.com/keymaps/kkga/ I mostly borrowed the vertical brackets cluster. I wanted (); in homerow but also { accessable. [] isn't used as much so it went on the bottom row. And } is usually handled by intelesense/autocomplete so I put it a bit out of the way.

I was also eyeballing Hypership as well and tried setting symbols up similar but then saw KKGA's and got curious about it. I can't find Hypership right now but if I do I can share it too. I think someone made a comment on this community a few days ago.

So that key on my left half is Tab right now and that is mostly for muscle memory going between 34 and 36 keys. On my right half it's my gaming layer toggle so that is barely used. Where Tab is isn't great and I am considering swapping it for the outer key which is Esc. It's not bad for shorter typing sessions but as a software developer I use Tab a ton.

If you can manage 34 keys, I would really recommend a Ferris Sweep. It's thumb cluster really has been the best out of all I've tried so far.

I used iDye Poly. You can find it on amazon or probably other places.

It's been about a year since I dyed these ones but if I recall, I tossed the dye into a crockpot we have for non-food related shenanigans like dyeing yarn. Let it heat up and then toss the caps in. I used a strainer spoon thing to periodically check the color until it was a shade I was happy with. Then fish them out and rinse them a bunch. After I rinsed them and was pretty sure they were able to be handled by hand, I scrubbed them lightly with a rag to make sure no residue was left.

If you look up any videos on dyeing ABS plastic(or whatever type the caps are made out of) that should transfer to this fairly well.

This is my most recent build. I've had the PCBs for half a year and just now found time to put it together.

I work from home and wanted something that I could use specifically for work, and wanted to try out clickies since I don't have co-workers around that would get annoyed. I was also really interested in what the dude at Fingerpunch did with the Elite-C as a 36 key diodeless solution and wanted to check these MCUs out anyway so it made sense that this would be a next build.

So far, I'm not sure. The switches have very little wobble but the springs are just a tad bit on the heavy side for me. I wanna give it a week writing code with before I really get an opinion.

The pink with the turquoise switch color also makes for one heck of a combo. I think it almost takes center stage compared to the black PCB which was what I really was after. I like how black and pink look together.

Here's a side view to see the switches. Sorry for the quality:

And if anyone is curious, here's my layout for the most part:
