Many products, particularly cleaners, get regulated into the commercial only sector. I have to (illegally) ship trisodium phosphate (TSP) to where I live because government decided to blanket ban phosphates.

It's not always greed :)

Because one thing is a technical barrier, the other is a political barrier.

You can and should improve your technology as your political employees work on deployment to new markets.

They're entirely different staff.

Because all they're doing to support 20Gbit is swapping some SFP+ or switches, and a new drop down menu in the CMS.

Actually hanging or trenching fiber is an entirely different ballpark of beaurocracy.

Software radios can do many things that are against the rules, the governing bodies only care about how they're actually being used for the most part.

Also, the measurements are over time. It's possible to exceed the total allowed in short bursts.

I think it was the left telling social media what they should and shouldn't redact.. everything from COVID scepticism to Hunter Bidens laptop.
