Keepass with key file. I synchronise only the database with cloud servers while the key file stays on my devices and never gets synched. I think that's a good tradeoff for security and convenience.

Good to know you solved your issue. I remember in Nobara 36 I flashed it onto a 4gb stick and it was pretty full. Wasn't sure if the subsequent releases increased in size or not. :p
Very interesting. I've had similar issues that you had but it was when joining a friend's multiplayer server with lots of mods. Single player works fine for me.
Sorry, I can't think of any other possible solutions for you to try.
What is the size of the usb stick you're flashing it onto? Maybe try it again with a bigger usb stick?
Are you starting a game with lots of mods enabled?
Can you try creating a new save with no mods enabled and see if you still get crashes? I think some of the mods in the Steam workshop just doesn't work well in Linux.
Tolls just shift the car population from one road to another. It doesn't keep the car off the road in the first place.
Easy - work from home for the office workers who can do so. That should remove a good portion of the traffic.
I hate credit card surcharges but understand that there's a cost involved in the convenience and it's either the customer paying for it or the business taking it out of profits.
What really gets me is the lack of a cash payment option if I really don't want to pay the CC surcharge.
Just started playing Mars First Logistics.
On one hand, I think it could be possible that Meta is planning to federate with the fediverse with the ultimate goal of destroying it and replacing it with their own instances. Similar to what Google did with XMPP according to this article. https://ploum.net/2023-06-23-how-to-kill-decentralised-networks.html
On the other hand, I also think it could be possible Meta is wanting to federate with the fediverse just so it can increase it's data collection many times quicker. Why manage servers when you can connect to other servers and suck up data as and when Threads users interact with other lemmy instances.
No idea which is more likely.
