To be clear, she did not make an Alford plea that the judge would've likely rejected. She was over a barrel and plead guilty and now wants everyone to ignore that.

At this point they likely would vote for him if he does that.

While Catholics consider themselves evangelical, I wouldn't lump them directly in with the greater "Evangelical" label.

That said, I highly doubt these Catholics are Jesuits out to offer a quality education considering the plan is to do an online K-12 school. Should be rejected on that alone.

Bingo. People are MUCH more willing to put aside what they'd consider absolute deal breaking things when they're forced to interact with you anyway. Arguing with someone about this sort of shit wouldn't change their minds and is a waste of time even if it somehow did. Be who you are and move along in your work relationship and expect them to do the same for you. That's how you maintain a healthy work environment. It's a good way to foster mutual respect.
