I guess I feel a small bit of shame for reading this deep in a dumb argument for a laugh, but we all have our guilty pleasures.

So a state potters field for unclaimed/John doe bodies and not hidden killings at a poorly run jail? I will grant that someone getting run over by a police car and then disappearing into a potters field tracks as something rotten, though.

I'd likely go for guillotine. Brain can't operate without blood and if you sever all the arteries/veins at once it's immediate lights out when that pressure drops. Internal decapitation from a noose isn't too bad either though, but neurogenic shock likely takes a noticeable amount of time compared to just completely dropping blood pressure entirely. Not that you'd remember it.

Getting twisted about gender neutral language as a tool of oppression is dumb as hell. I consider gender neutral language to be preferable and more egalitarian and wish English would just drop gendered pronouns like Persian did and like we dropped gendered nouns compared to most other Indo European languages. I find this nonsense position to be oppressive myself.

Edit: As an aside, originally our mother language for indo-european speakers actually had to do with whether something had a spirit or not, not its gender as we understand it now. Then it switched to male and female instead of soul or no soul as religious concepts evolved. There's no reason we shouldn't do the same as our concepts around gender continue to evolve.

That's cool. Good use of waste heat. We're too NIMBY and adverse to paying for infrastructure that takes time to pay off. Much more efficient to do it centrally and extract power than use cooling towers at power plants and wasting your exhaust heat out of chimneys in home furnaces.

How big an area? I've only seen that on college campuses and military bases before in the US.

That's quite minimally invasive, with the biggest danger really being the anesthesia(and that's likely an extremely small danger in your case). Most of what they'll be doing is working on what your body already considers the "outside."

I wonder how a solid piece of ivory would like the bumping around from a shot's recoil. Grips are one thing, but the whole handle or stock feels like it would crack.
