Is Italy a superpower? No. Neither is Russia.
And Russia will never start atomic warfare against multiple NATO nuclear powers.

NATO members just shy away from getting into direct conflict. If they wouldn't, Russia would be dead.
Or can you imagine Italy winning a world war?
