Gimme a couple days to polish up some jank I'm working through, but the base functionality is definitely there.

I am working on one myself. I have bluesky and mastodon running in the same client, as well as facebook/instagram archive imports. I'm trying to give it an indie web vibe, with lots of profile/theme customizations, and have formatted the UI as a web browser so it has a lot of flexibility and utility overall. I think we need to go way beyond just bridges, personally, and build something with native interoperability and rich feature sets so users can actually use the fediverse to the fullest. I can send and invite to the repo I have if you're interested in checking it out.
I'm game. I would say monthly would be a good frequency.
That first rig is the exact specs I have for building my first self hosting set up (with a GTX 970 or radeon r9 290x if I need a GPU, but I have yet to learn of a reason I would), so that's good to know I'm starting out at a good level.
Oh, I see where the disconnect is, you think all AI is inherently evil and useless, while I think it can have use and moral value. So no point in continuing this conversation since nothing I say will penetrate your anti AI bias.
That's pretty fucking vague. Would you care to elaborate. It seems someone made it for a very specific situation and it delivers the message well. It's not like it some fantasy photo of a cat with three heads. It is a meme that people use to communicate an idea. That seems to be the opposite of slop to me.
What makes it slop exactly?
It may be made with AI, but I'm not sure you can call it slop. It is an adaptation from an old anime, and people seem to very clearly understand the meaning/intention.

This is really nice. I would like to see more bluesky integration into fediverse platforms, they should really be part of the same network.
That's a cuddle puddle.
