I've been binging on For All Mankind and it's been a great reminder of how difficult space exploration actually is and how quickly things can go wrong.
The fact that they accomplished their goal of pinpoint landing within 10 meters of their target should be the lede.
I bet people in the industry are amazed by this accomplishment.
Wtf is up with the proliferation of "slams" in social media headlines? Hell, the article in question doesn't even say "slams", it says "condemns".
It'll be a far cry from the 700,000 one guy is estimating (guessing).

Daredevil's long take hallway fight scene really made me appreciate that type of shot. The scene just hits different when it's choreographed to be done in a single take. It's what made me love the John Wick movies.
Also, once you realize it's supposed to be a single shot scene, it becomes really evident when they use hidden cuts to make it feel like a single shot. The most obvious is when someone or something temporarily blocks the camera.
I agree with the idea of small communities being interconnected with a massive distribution of public transit. I would love to walk everywhere from my daily necessities, but still making it easy to get to larger social centers for other needs. I think that should be the goal we strive for as a society.
Discipline

This is a great real life example of discipline. The published author has disciplined themselves to sit down and write, even when they don't feel motivated to.
