I watched it last night. You hit the nail on the head - it was just like the first episode after the other reboots. Not a bad thing, and I enjoyed it. Still felt like Futurama and the writers continue to respect the continuity of previous seasons, which is something I always appreciate.

How dare they post an article about a sci-fi show in.... sci-fi?
I enjoyed it. It's a paint-by-numbers movie, but the 2 main actors really did a good job. Adam Driver especially carried the movie. The pacing was a little off and some of the others in this thread mentioned it's shortcomings, but if you're just looking to be entertained this should do it for you.
That brings back memories of my angsty highschool years
What's funny is I just had a conversation with myanager about how XR is still a niche market. Companies are actually trying to deploy mass management solutions for these devices. Google focusing on the core software and possibly making an Android-like OS for XR could be exactly what this tech needs to push it into mainstream like smartphones
"From" on MGM+. I'm not subscribed, but they have the first season on Amazon. It reminds me a lot of "Lost" with the mystery and trickling answers.
Such a good show. Very rare for a show to have a really good solid 8 seasons, you usually start to see a decline in quality after season 4.
Season 9 was a spinoff and doesn't count. You will never convince me otherwise!
I forgot about that comic. I should check in and catch up on it
I can understand the hate. Mitch is one of the architects of the current political environment. Obstruct, shift blame, and stack the courts... he's been a leader in all of that. The world as a whole will not be worse off when he's gone.
