The .org seems to require a log in. I wonder what entity has these domains. I imagine the folks working to manifest the fediverse don't have the capacity to buy up all the possible domains.

There used to be something called Conversation Exchange that was useful for for supplementation, but it was a pretty big jump from what I would get from Duolingo to speaking with someone there.

What alternatives are there to Duolingo?

This is frustrating to read. I used Duolingo over ten years ago, and was going to use it again to get back into some things, but now what? It seems that it is not what I remember it being. I only used it on a computer, and probably would now.

I am not sure about fashion, but I have found that repairing clothing is pretty cheap. Even if you pay a tailor to do so. Maybe patches can be fashionable but I just don't want my toe to catch that little knee hole and create a problem.

Is it realistic, or practical, for Wikipedia to register in a similar manner in another country?
