you canβt be attached to the child until theyβre old enough to display personality, which comes way later than the toddler stage; I ha just canβt see myself having any attachment before their personality develops
If that's how you feel, then that's how you feel. I'm gonna hazard a guess that the vast majority of people, especially pregnant/miscarriage/parents do not feel this way.

We took our pup to see her mother at around 8 months. The moon didn't recognize her anymore I guess, and didn't like other female dogs and chased her under a table leaving our dog cowering and shaking. Was not the reunion we all expected
