Someday we'll all be cruising in [...] SUVs.

God I hope not. These things are a nuisance in urban spaces and everyone would be worse off in your fantasy world, including the drivers.

It's because humans have rated potential responses and ChatGPT has been trained to generate the kind of responses that most consistently get preferred rating. You can imagine how an AI trained to say what people want to hear would become a people pleaser.

First he needed an exception for a 1-letter name in the App Store, eventually he'll need exceptions for going over the character limit.

I think they are just different designs with different use cases in mind. I use Safari tab groups and find them very helpful to quickly get back to specific work contexts, sort of like just separate browser windows that I can close and bring back as needed.

Having only used Chrome's tab groups briefly I think I recall them being more of an ad-hoc organizational tool for existing tabs in the window. In that case, I think Chrome's tab groups are closer to the name, whereas Safari tab groups are a separate concept that could have maybe used a different name.

The same people saying federal government shouldn't meddle in state issues are now saying the state should meddle in local issues... obviously because the federal and local levels aren't conservative enough for their tastes. How anyone could keep up with the mental gymnastics required to defend these inconsistent, contradictory hypocrites is beyond me.

Damn you weren't kidding. I always felt the swipe in Voyager to feel a little "off" but could never tell why. It was the haptic feedback! Now it feels just as natural as it used to in Apollo

Since at least some legitimate answers are already in, I will just say that I've noticed this as well from playing GeoGuessr, and it is definitely limited to only a few countries, I believe mostly in SEA.

Well, I think Dan Harmon being involved means it probably has at least a little bit of that absurdity still.
