Does she burp a lot instead? Maybe she's pumping it back up the other way. Kind of like how railguns vs. blasters work lore-wise in EVE Online:

Consists of two components: a shell of titanium and a core of antimatter atoms suspended in plasma state. Railguns launch the shell directly, while particle blasters pump the plasma into a cyclotron and process the plasma into a bolt that is then fired.

No web editor thoughβ€”well, they have a tutorial web app that I think you can force into editing your markdown files, but that's not what it's meant for.

It is more acidic than regular water, as the dissolved carbon dioxide creates carbonic acid.

Chemically-speaking, can you just wait for it to go flat? Or does that still leave something in the water?

Why would you do that though, I guess. Flat sparkling water tastes bad.

On the sci-fi front, have you seen Firefly?
Planetes was good too, Japanese Animation.

Aside from that, I enjoyed The Boys and The Umbrella Academy.
