Aw shit, here we go again...

"Alright, who let the Borg assimilate Albert Camus? Not since we ran across that paranoid android at Milliways have I been so annoyed by synthetic life..."
Would that be his tombstone?
I skimmed through the interview over my morning coffee, so this may have been addressed, but this sounds like an evolution of the Close Combat series. That was the first strategy game I've played where my ltiny army men would straight up disobey my orders given the correct circumstances. Wildly frustrating, but also very memorable, and it changed my approach to the scenarios. Definitely worth a wishlist on Steam.
It looks just as stupid as it's predecessor, but boy howdy do I think it will benefit from having Karl Urban in the protagonist role. No offense to Lewis Tan, since it was a Herculean task to make "Cole Young: Audience Surrogate" an interesting character within the milieu, but I'm ready for the Urbanaissance.
ALSO WILL SOMONE PLEASE HELP ME:
At the 40 second mark of the red band trailer, there is a fuzzed out melody which plays under the Standard Action Movie Trailer Percussion. It sounds vaguely like some of the stems from the Doom 2016 soundtrack. I swear I've heard it before, or something very similar, but, for the life of me, I can't place it. It's been itching at the back of my brain stem for days now. Anyone have any suggestions on where I may have heard that snippet before? It's driving me nutty.
Idk, this has more personality to it than the beige nightmare a lot of folks live in. Even if that personality smells like stale cigarettes and Cutty Sark.
In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has widely been regarded as a bad move.
I mean, what do you want it to be? I agree that it looks a little amateurish, but not really any moreso than ads for local events I've seen in weekly newspapers. Granted, a local artist exhibition is not really in the same league as the Iowa State Fair, but, still, I don't find it that egregious.
Can't speak to Mission Log, but the Nextlander Watch cast is in the midst of their Summer of Trek, and have just hit the midway point of season 2. Seems like they do a couple episodes every week. The crew is made up of former Gamespot/Giant Bomb employees (Vinny Caravella, Alex Navarro, and Brad Shoemaker), if you're familiar with their previous work.
I can 100% confirm that, despite going on to earn a history degree, when I think of Joan of Arc, William Wallace, Genghis Khan, or Saladin, I think of the campaigns from AoE2
Idk nothing about Mechanicum lore, but I choose to believe that the Omnissiah is actually John Browning.
I'm a homm2 guy myself ( shout out fheroes2 engine ), but I can't sympathize with you on that front. Much like some folks' relationship with Civ, I'm constantly in a "one more turn" loop when I play, to the point that I won't boot it up if it's after a certain time haha
