Cope with what? You make no sense but I'm not telling you anything new.

You forgot the "/s".
That or you are a delusional nutjob.

I get it and I expected as much. I would not engage to heavy either tbh, I totally get your problem and dilemma. Just a simple, 'that is not true' or 'you have been lied to' and then move on. She gets to drop nuggets of indisputable nonsense, you get to drop yours. Anyway, good luck!

Why did you not engage her? It is this sort of silence that empowers her and other like her. I get it, this is your mother but at the same time you are allowed to voice the truth and push back a little. Not to the level of an all out 'war' of course, I get that, but some push back is allowed. If that doesn't land well, there's not a whole lot you can do but if I were you I would drop nuggets of info every single time, just to not let it pass and give the impression they are right. It needs to be uncomfortable to air these lies.

Not that I know of but tbh, you should look at blocking the entity that brought this into lemmy/your life.
You can block the user if he enters articles or info you want to dismiss. For me it's entirely a valid thing to do as gaining control over who gets to enter your information space is your prerogative.

I can just about guarantee that most of your day to day life is influenced by what people did in the past in regards to protests. Could be as huge as in civil war or smaller local protest to combat small issues. Your rights and comforts have been written in the blood of those who preceded you. Sometimes metaphorically, sometimes very real blood.

Protesting helps and did help.

In my country we have an old saying that I learned from Jewish store/market people:
"I wish you many employees..."
The meaning is that while it is fun to have a store, having to deal with employees can be a bit daunting and frustrating, a toll on your sleep and sanity, so in effect they are wishing you sorrow and despair.

After having worked with Indian colleagues and managers for 10+ years I developed my own version of it:
"I wish you an Indian manager..."
This means that I kinda dislike you and I can get great pleasure of watching you struggle with the insanity of what is Indian management.
Great people to work with, absolute idiots and delusional sociopaths once they become part of management.

It's a joke but in reality, both sayings do have some sort of merit to them.

This guy gives me that lunatic Indian management vibe...

Number two is the new number one?

My guess is that the 'grass' is actually paint or painted grass and it is the paint that caught on fire.

I installed it but I am clueless on how to use it. If someone can give a short explanation on how to actually use this extension then that would be marvelous!

If a Trump presidency means all of our rights being sold, then I guess we have nothing to worry about because we must not have any rights left for him to sell(he was literally already the president).

First run he had somewhat capable people around him to stop or slow him down. The second run is where he will apply lessons learned. It is not imaginary nor fantasy to perceive or see this.

If you only ever play with cheat codes, when you then encounter someone with any ability to push back you just have curl up in a ball and wait for the anonymous upvotes to stroke your ego and convince you that you must be right because you said "Yay! Biden!". This is the part where you would typically ignorantly call me a "Trump Fucker", then I say "No, I don't like Trump either", then you just get more angry because it makes no sense to you that maybe I dislike both of the mental patients.

Jesus... I mean, come on man. One moment you want some form of discussion and next you know you vent like a madman. In short, this text reflects on you, not on the party you intended to childishly insult.

And for the record, I also object to this 'both sides' nonsense. Is Biden perfect? Of course not. But he will and has tried to do the right things. Again, not always and I have issues with him but what politician is going to do all the things I like?
But to place trump next to Biden is a colossal feat of mental gymnastics that I am sure you do not truly believe. That guy is out for one and one only, himself. That's it. And he will use every opportunity and lever to achieve this. There is a difference and it is quite large as well.
