Apple should be ashamed of this nonsense.

You know there are other ways to get HIV besides gay sex, right? HIV can be transmitted through heterosexual intercourse, blood transfusions, and needle sharing.

“It attributes the rise to several factors including blood transfusions for wounded soldiers, reusing syringes in field hospitals, and soldiers engaging in unprotected sex and drug use.”

Possibly not much longer. Discovery and WB are breaking back up. We’ll have to wait and see who gets it in the divorce.

I always felt like they would have gotten more mileage out of these if they hadn’t crammed multiple villains into the sequel films. Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman should have been the only villain in her sequel. Penguin could have been in a sequel of his own.

Same problem with the Schumacher sequels.

I’ve always heard to it referred to as the “military industrial complex”. Eisenhower tried to warn us about it in the 1950s.

Yeah, and I forgot Last Of Us, though I think they announced it only has one more season?

Trying to think of what franchises that leaves HBO with post Discovery split:

  • Gilded Age
  • True Detective
  • Euphoria
  • White Lotus
  • House of the Dragon / GOT
  • The Pitt

Anything else? Not a lot there.

I have my doubts that Euphoria will continue past this next season. Will Dune Prophecy ever air again (and will it be another 6 ep season)? Will there be other Dune and GOT spinoffs or will this be it?

I didn’t include Last Week Tonight in the list because as much as I enjoy that program, few people are going to sign up to HBO just for that. Same with Bill Maher (can’t believe he’s still on the air).

I hear there’s a Green Lantern show coming. That might attract some subscribers.

Still missing Raised By Wolves. Bastards.

“She controls his agenda.”

Define agenda. Are we talking meetings calendar? Because people like Putin and Peter Thiel influence what Trump actually says and does.

They were stupid not to give it away for free to everyone, with a paid upgrade path to the full version.

This is what your neighbors wanted and voted for. Don’t act surprised.

Not sure what investors are supposed to invest in when everything is tariffed.

Spotify is going to get its ass sued into oblivion. Music estates, RIAA, and record companies do not fuck around.

I’ll start with “Outland”. It’s about a crotchety Sheriff/Marshall investigating crimes on a mining colony on one of Jupiter’s moons, and the sidekick doctor that helps him solve them. The original film had a very “Alien” universe feel.

Pitch meeting: True Detctive meets Alien. Each season = one mystery.

I think I counted like maybe two or three programs I’d watch on this list. Probably not enough to get me to subscribe anytime soon. Hoping the “Little House” adaptation is realistic.

Trying to remember the last time I wanted to watch anything on Peacock. “Poker Face” is the only series I know of that has any buzz. I guess people subscribe for sports coverage? It’s not an Olympic year yet.

If you think this is a stupid idea, I suggest you write your council person.

The fees on my water bill are already over $100 per month. Maybe if we weren’t paying to build multimillion dollar pylons for I-35’s non existent parkland (that we also can’t afford to build or maintain) we wouldn’t have to come up with more new fees.

I’ve got grubs in my vegetable garden. I looked into spraying nematodes to kill them, but I’m worried about it harming other bugs like butterflies, bees, and fireflies. Anyone have any experience with this? I don’t want to do more harm than good.

I know that some people eat celery with hummus. Or put pimento cheese or peanut butter on it. Are there any other foods that you think go well with celery? I’ve got some celery in my fridge that I’m trying to eat up.

Just what we need. More consolidation. 🙄
