Huh? Terrorism is violent, there's nothing that the First Amendment can do to protect them...
What terrorists are you talking about?
Well, if it was ages ago, instances may have gotten wise to the fact that your account is gone and deleted the posts by now.
Chris Christie. Mike Pence will be a close second though.
Beehaw seems like a fun community but their admin likes censorship and their instance doesn't support free speech. I'm hoping we can build something comparable to @Technology@beehaw.org on the free side on Lemmy.
You post and comment histories would likely still be saved on any instances that federated with them previously, I would imagine.
I have a DS Lite. I don't game on it much tho, but I plan on using it for casual gaming.
I just need Tetris DS and I'll be happy!
True. But as more normal people find Lemmy, eventually they'll be outnumbered. lemmy.ml and lemmygrad are already starting to ice themselves out of a lot of instance through overly heavy moderation and pro-fascist censorship.
That sucks. But the blackout has been horrible from a user standpoint.
There's a wealth of helpful information on Reddit that's just been obliterated from the internet now. Half the time when I'm searching for a solution for something I don't even click on Reddit anymore.
It's got me comments before.
It sounds like you're trying to get comments from posts to sync, rather that query individual comments.
You should be able to load this comment, for example: https://exploding-heads.com/comment/29311
But I don't know of a way to force all comments on a remote post to load.
I live in the USA, and phones are generally banned in schools here, although they're allowed to be used while class is not in session.
In some cases though, kids have become violent and attacked teachers who have tried taking their phone away.
I've found that the best way to load a post or community is actually to just copy the remote link and search for it. Communities usually take about 30 seconds to load but if you sit in the search results page for a bit it'll show up.
But you may want to make sure that your instance isn't blocked, by going to [instanceurl]/instances
It's not from a movie but this nonverbal breakup was exquisite
